[Admission & Scholarship Result] University of Chicago – MS in Applied Data Science (Fall 2026)

We are pleased to share a successful admission and scholarship outcome for one of our applicants to the Master of Science in Applied Data Science program at University of Chicago for Fall 2026.

In addition to admission, the student was awarded a $10,000 Data Science Institute tuition scholarship, recognizing the strength of their academic preparation, clarity of purpose, and alignment with the program’s rigorous, research-oriented curriculum.

This application was built around a carefully articulated narrative that went beyond technical credentials. Particular emphasis was placed on explaining why applied data science as an academic and professional pathway, how the student’s prior experiences naturally led to this field, and why UChicago’s interdisciplinary and quantitative approach was the right fit.
