Record Applications for Yale Divinity School's Incoming Class

Yale Divinity School (YDS) has announced that it received a record number of applications for the incoming class of 2025. This marks an important milestone for one of the most respected theological institutions in the world.

Applications increased by 18% compared to the previous year, reaching the highest total in YDS history. Applicants for the Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Master of Arts in Religion (M.A.R.), and Master of Sacred Theology (S.T.M.) programs all contributed to this growth. As a result, the acceptance rate has dropped to 23%, the most selective in the school’s history.
